Compliance

Our whistleblower system at Digitalprojekt 4 GmbH, in compliance with EWE Go GmbH and EWE AG

Integrity and transparency are of central importance at Digitalprojekt 4 GmbH & EWE Go. Compliance is therefore a key topic, and is therefore firmly anchored in the company, as the success of our company is based on integrity and compliance.

With our whistleblower system, we enable employees to anonymously report concerns or violations of internal guidelines or legal regulations. In this way, we promote a transparent and trusting company culture and at the same time manage to identify and eliminate potential risks at an early stage.

Digitalprojekt 4 GmbH relies on the support of its employees and contractual partners to comply with laws and internal regulations. Abuses must be uncovered in order to avert potential damage to the company and to protect employees and third parties. At EWE Go, all employees have a responsibility to immediately report risks or violations of laws and internal regulations. We also expressly encourage our customers, business partners and other third parties to report violations, anomalies and risks.

The EWE AG compliance organization and an external ombudsperson are available as contact points for whistleblowers. Both bodies meet the requirements for internal reporting offices in accordance with the HinSchG. DP4, EWE Go and EWE AG ensure that every report made in good faith is treated confidentially and respectfully. Whistleblowers are protected from possible reprisals.

The whistleblower system also serves as a complaints office in accordance with the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG). It therefore also makes it possible to point out human rights and environmental risks as well as violations of human rights or environmental obligations that have arisen as a result of the business activities of EWE Go itself or those of a direct or indirect supplier of EWE Go. The Code of Conduct is available for download below.

This is factually independent and organizationally separate from the rest of the BfJ's area of responsibility. This link takes you to the reporting channels published by the BfJ, which whistleblowers can use to contact the external federal reporting office.

Data processing in the whistleblower system is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Information for whistleblowers in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 GDPR can be found here.
